Return Policy


WHERE DO YOU SHIP AND WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS?

There are two delivery tiers for domestic shipping. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Rates are based on package weight and shipping destination. We offer free shipping for domestic orders above $150. All orders ship out of our north Texas warehouse and are processed within 1-2 days of receipt based on service selected at check out. We are a small team and appreciate your patience.


HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.


CAN I CHANGE OR EDIT MY ORDER?

Orders submitted on thealtars.com process very quickly. We will do our best to modify an existing order if you contact us at hello@thealtars.com, but we offer no guarantee that your order will be canceled or modified.


WHAT IS YOUR EXCHANGE POLICY

If you’d like to exchange products just out of preference, we’re happy to accommodate. Please email hello@thealtars.com with details and we will be happy to help process your request.


WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY

We hope that you will love our products and appreciate the care we have put into our formulas. We understand that sometimes things do not work out and we want you to be satisfied. We are happy to accept return products within 14 days of purchase. Returned items must be unopened and in their original condition. Special orders and sale items are excluded. To initiate a return, please submit an email with your complete order info to us at hello@thealtars.com.


WHERE DO YOU SHIP YOUR PRODUCTS?

We currently ship our products to customers in the U.S. We do not currently ship internationally, but we're working hard to make sure that those living outside of the U.S can enjoy our products soon.


HOW DO I CHECK THE STATUS OF MY ORDER?

You will receive a tracking number when your order has shipped. If you have not received a tracking number by the second business day after placing your order, please reach out to us at hello@thealtars.com.


WHAT IF MY ITEM IS OUT OF STOCK?

Currently, The Altars shopping cart will not accept your selection unless the item is in stock. However, one of our team members would be happy to assist you in finding an alternative or contact you when your item is available. Please let us know at hello@thealtars.com.


MY TRACKING SAYS THAT MY ORDER WAS “DELIVERED” BUT I NEVER RECEIVED IT.

Carriers and tracking information can be tricky. It’s not uncommon for a shipment to experience some delays or for a carrier to mark an order delivered and not have it arrive until the next day. We want you to receive your order too, so we’re sorry for any trouble this may cause. If your order still hasn’t arrived 48 hours after it was estimated and/or marked as delivered, just send us an email at
