For best results: Burn at least 2 hours per lighting. Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch.

For Enhanced Candle Work

With your chosen oil, for calling in apply the oil to your finger and rub the oil from the top of the candle towards the middle and then again from the bottom to the middle as if you are calling in to the center of the candle. For releasing apply the oil to your finger and rub the oil from the middle to the top, and then the middle to the bottom, if you are pushing it out from the center of the candle.

Studies have found that flame related practices, such as candle gazing meditation, help boost our ability to concentrate, while simultaneously reducing feelings of stress and anxiety. Researchers from Harvard University used brain scans to reveal positive change in the structures of the brain during an eight-week training program of mindfulness called MBSR or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. The scans showed thickening in the brain's hippocampus, the area of the brain known to control memory, learning and emotion regulation.
